It is that time of year to hold myself accountable to the progress or, lack of, made in 2012. On the completed front I did lose 20 pounds and read a book a week. While I did purchase a guitar in 2012 it has seen little use so fail on the music playing front. For travel I did about 108 days on the road this year with visits to Finland, England, and France so I’ll give myself a 1/2 point on travel but with two personal trips already locked in for 2013 I’m off to a strong start.
I’m a big believer in focus. So, my 2013 goals:
- Health: Get down to my college weight (we are getting close), Exercise 3 times a week, Continued no Soda, Less Alcohol, and eat a whole hell of a lot better. I’d say I’m 40% on my way to becoming a vegetarian at my current rate of dietary change.
- Four Great Personal travel adventures in 2013. I have two planned and two more to lock in.
- Listen better. I spend too much time talking. I learn a lot more when I listen with my mind as well as my ears.
- Continue reading a Book a week. I read a ton of business books in 2012 and I look forward to delving into a lot more history and fiction in 2013.
