It has been wet and cold here for days but I ran across this picture from the summer out on Block Island and I needed to post it. Al with “drinks from the wall”. This machine has been responsible for all kinds of havoc over the years out on BI and many a great memory.

I start my new job tomorrow which I’m excited for. I’ve cut my commute from two hours a day to ten minutes. I have a long list of things I’m going to do in my extra ten hours a week. One thing that I’m looking into is becoming a Guardian Ad Litem which is a court appointed advocate for children.

The annual Halloween party is next Sat. at 8p. See you in costume.

Beth Waters – A mellow Tori Amos. I don’t love the album but there are some solid tracks
The Last Kiss – Just go buy it though I have not seen the movie the album is worth your coin.
Ben Taylor – Ok he reminds me of his Dad but Kevin Bacon did a good job with producing the album.
Kasey Chambers – This is the best album to date and I can see why some may not like the change.
John Mayer – It kills me to say this but its good. I’m not loving the single, “waiting on the world to change” which is over played and hyped. The album is his best yet and I have to say changes the way I look at him. So, I may not want to see him on his own TV show but I’ll go see this live any day.

Went to see my only living Grandmother on Saturday. She has no clue who I am. To lose your memory has to be the cruelest of diseases. Because she knows she should remember she just can’t.
