Recent Trips

We love to travel as a family. We do it a lot. Here are some recent places worth your time.

Annapolis, MD – Its feels like home as its a bigger version of Portsmouth, NH. We visit as a family most months for work. Lots to do with kids. A good selection of restaurants and ice cream shops.

Orlando, FL – We visit yearly for various trade shows. Rent an AirBnb with the theme of your choice and a pool. Enjoy the weather and an almost endless series of things to do for a week.

Anguilla – Best beaches in the world. Find one you like and sit on it for a week during the winter. Take the kids to Blanchards for a meal or ice cream.

New York, New York – It will always be home. Music, museums, shopping and eats to die for.

Block Island – 50 years same house same beach. Low density of a-holes. Enjoy a week or two on the beach with your family.

Quebec City, Canada – You feel like your in Europe. Brush up on your French and enjoy a magical long weekend.

Bar Harbor, Me – Head to Acadia National Park for a fall hike. It refills the soul.

Alaska – OMG! Whales, Bears, and wildlife galore. Wish we had gone sooner. We will be back.

Traveling with Kids

Its an art and science. It gets better the more you do it. The dollar store and snacks are your friend. When you get stranded in a foreign city by weather go have an adventure. The TSA line is where you see who likes kids and who hates them 🙂
