Tunes for Chicago

My latest tunes:

Beth Waters – A mellow Tori Amos. I don’t love the album but there are some solid tracks
The Last Kiss – Just go buy it though I have not seen the movie the album is worth your coin.
Ben Taylor – Ok he reminds me of his Dad but Kevin Bacon did a good job with producing the album.
Kasey Chambers – This is the best album to date and I can see why some may not like the change.
John Mayer – It kills me to say this but its good. I’m not loving the single, “waiting on the world to change” which is over played and hyped. The album is his best yet and I have to say changes the way I look at him. So, I may not want to see him on his own TV show but I’ll go see this live any day.

Memory…

Went to see my only living Grandmother on Saturday. She has no clue who I am. To lose your memory has to be the cruelest of diseases. Because she knows she should remember she just can’t.

Five and the 5th…

I got asked today what my five favorite songs were. I broke out in a cold sweat, ONLY five! I took the 5th as I can’t begin to rank only five songs. So, my reply:

Five songs that I can’t get out of my head at the moment:

1. The Trapeze Swinger by Iron & Wine
2. Starry Eyed Surprise by Paul Oakenfold
3. Let is Ride by Ryan Adams
4. Born to Hum by Erin McKeown
5. Winter Killing by Stina Nordenstam
