Seth’s Post on: Policies, biases and conflicts

I read Seth Godin’s blog everyday. There is a lot of wisdom he imparts but his latest post freely declaring what or whom he is affiliated with was worth copying. So I’m going to follow his lead. Very few people read my blog regularly but I think the principal is important.

I take no advertising on this site. I’m part of no affiliate program so I get no commission on any products that you read about here. I work at MyWebGrocer which owns; Netgrocer.com, MyBaby.com and provides SaaS to 85 retail grocers and an equal number of CPG companies. On the Beach

My family has a tradition for the last 34 years. To spend some quality time out on Block Island, RI. If you have never been it is one of those magical places and on my short list of favorite places in the world. Eat, drink, read, and play on the beach is about all we do but that the whole idea. Do nothing. Relax and just take life in at a slower pace for a week with folks you care about. Work has been crazed the last few months in a good but all consuming way. So, it is nice to have nothing to do but hit the beach and read.

Back from Romania

Had a quick 5 day trip for work to Romania. It was pretty much work straight through except we did stop at this castle between Bucharest and Cluj. It was a long drive between the two because of all the construction. You can clearly see the EU funds pouring in as construction is every where. Everyone spoke great English which was a pleasant surprise. Our flights were good except Child Travel screwed us again in a foreign country by not issuing us paper tickets out of Cluj. So, I had to buy new ones in cash on the spot. Not fun as the Cluj airport looks like Grand Central Station in a closet. We are looking at opening our second off shore development office in Romania as MWG growth keeps accelerating.  I look forward to going back at a more relaxed pace or being able to take a day off and actualy soak up more of the culture and sites.
